SEP is committed to helping children and adolescents with disabilities to improve their quality of life here in Kenya.
SEP organizes Dances for youth with disabilities three times a year, in partnership with Sarakasi Trust. The Dance for Youth is a special fun event, for teenagers and adolescents with disabilities to get together and have some fun! Youth from different schools and centres get an opportunity to meet, dance, learn new dance moves, get entertainment from well renowned Sarakasi entertainers and socialise with each other. The event is normally free of charge for the youth and is open to all youth with disabilities notwithstanding social class, background or colour. The event has proved to be a great success as the numbers attending have been growing consistently through the years.
SEP has so far organised 19 dance for youth events which have seen over 990 youth attending.
Overall the dance for youth has been very successful when it comes to social inclusion, one of SEP’s major pillars in promoting inclusion in our societies.
SEP welcomes you to Dance for Youth event first edition of 2020 on 28th February at Sarakasi Dome in Ngara.
