Following the series of peer workshops on Autism, Dyslexia, Cerebral Palsy, Albinism, Hearing impairment, ADHD and Down Syndrome, awareness raising events were organised to celebrate the learners’ learning in the 3 schools.  

In October 2025, the awareness raising events were organised in Gakenge, Kamangu and Jepegomi.

The children shared stories, songs, poems and sketches to show their understanding of the different disabilities. It is amazing every time how creative and original their performances are!  During the event, teachers and learners show how they actively create supporting learning environments and reduce discrimination. Parents are invited to take part in the celebration.

Through the awareness raising events, the children are celebrating their knowledge and reconfirming their commitment to leave no one behind.
