The theme for this year’s World Occupational Therapy Day was ‘Occupational Therapy for All’. The theme reflects the important role of the profession to facilitate the ability of individuals, communities and populations to participate in the activities that they want, need or are expected to do in their daily lives. World Occupational Therapy Day, held annually on October 27, is the opportunity to heighten the visibility of the profession’s development work and to promote the activities occupational therapists do. SEP participated this year in the event that was organised by JKUAT. Occupational Therapists and students joined to celebrate their profession. SEP had a stand with assistive devices and play materials to showcase. Students flocked our stand, experienced devices first-hand, and asked many questions. We are sure that it was an eye opener for most of them seeing a range of assistive devices and what locally is available.
